This Weekend in Bend

There are no big festivals happening this weekend but there were a few things on the calendar that caught my eye.  The first was the Zombie Walk in Redmond.  Dress up like a Zombie and walk with fellow un-dead citizens through downtown Redmond this evening (Friday 10/14) at 5 pm.  Registration begins at 4 pm and all proceeds will benefit NeighborImpact.

If you are in need of some gear for the winter sports season the annual Skyliners Winter Sports Swap is happening Saturday at the Mt. Bachelor Bus Barn (115 SW Columbia) from 8 am to 5 pm.  All proceeds benefit the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation.

One thing that you can do in Bend just about any day is the Cycle Pub of Bend.  I haven’t had a chance to do this yet but it is definitely on my list.  Maybe it’s because I don’t have enough friends (15) to make it economically feasible.  Bring your friends and something that holds beer and the Cycle Pub will take you on a tour of breweries around town.  It sounds like a lot of fun and every time I have seen it go by everyone seems to be having a blast.  Below is a video from Business On Main a MSN community for small business.
