Tom Fazio course at Pronghorn

Pronghorn Club and Resort has begun its next phase of development.  The neighborhood is called Tesana and has 79 lots ranging from 9,000 to 15,000 square feet.  Tesana is located near the center of the resort between the two golf courses.  Haggart Luxury Homes is the preferred builder but other builders are welcome provided they pass review by the design committee.  There are eight floor plans available with the homes ranging in size from 2,000 to 3,900 square feet.  As you can see in the photo above, many homes in Pronghorn are designed with outdoor living in mind.  The purchase of a lot includes Premier Membership at Pronghorn and two years without having to pay dues ($1015/month).   Everything about Pronghorn is “top shelf” and the prices are a reflection of that.  Home sites start at $446,000 and you can expect to pay at least another $860,000 to have your home built.  If you don’t want to wait for your home to be built there are a number of completed homes currently for sale.  These homes and “villas” range in price from $800,000 to $4,000,000.  Click here to see Pronghorn homes for sale.

Pronghorn is a 640 acre resort located just a few miles NE of Bend.  It is surrounded by 20,000 acres of federal land giving it the feel of being much more remote than it really is.  There are two golf courses on the property.  One designed by Jack Nicholas and the other by Tom Fazio.  The Nicholas course is open to the public but the Fazio course must be played with a member.  The photo above is of the 8th hole on the Fazio course.  Other outdoor amenities include:  two pools, tennis courts, a playground, basketball court and hot tubs.  Fishing, rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding and skiing can be arranged through the concierge.  Pronghorn also offers three restaurants on site.
