Munch and Music

Six Thursday evenings during the summer are reserved for Munch and Music in Bend.  This past Thursday we made it down to Drake Park for Curtis Salgado.  Curtis has been sharing his blues throughout the Northwest and nationally since the late 1970’s and it is always nice to have the opportunity to hear him again.

While not every act at Munch and Music is nationally known the quality of the music is always great and family friendly.  There are still four more Thursdays on the schedule this year including Rootz Underground, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Shemekia Copeland.   If you are in town on a Thursday you should definitely find a way to get down to this free event.  This year there are 17 food vendors plus a kids area full of Jump-N-Fun Inflatables.  For the adults there is a beer garden featuring Deschutes Brewery.

You can also rent a canoe or kayak and paddle around Mirror Pond while listening to the music.

If you would like to explore homes for sale on Mirror Pond or in the historic district of Bend across from the park please give us a call.  We would be happy to give you a tour of perhaps the most desirable area to live in Bend and Central Oregon.
